Hello and Happy Thanksgiving. Welcome back to a special Thanksgiving Day episode of the podcast. When I think of Thanksgiving, for many obvious reasons I think of abundance. Cornucopias. Having plenty. Overflow. Being full. Refrigerators filled with ingredients, ovens stuffed with turkeys, turkeys stuffed with dressing, and tables filled with people. It’s easy to imagine and think about abundance and feel abundant this time of year, but did you know that we can feel abundant about cooking all year long. Today is this solo Thanksgiving episode, I talk about the abundance we can feel related to inviting people to our home, planning a menu, buying ingredients, cooking the meal, and sharing it with those we love. Thanksgiving isn’t a pursuit of perfection and control, it’s a time to let go and really enjoy the bounty of all that we have available to us to cook and create food in our kitchens.
